About us
ProstecWear was born out of a shared passion for football. As dedicated players, we, Gijs and Dara, noticed that traditional football socks and accessories limited our performance rather than enhancing it. Blisters, slipping socks, and shin guards that wouldn’t stay in place were a constant frustration on the field. We quickly discovered that many other players faced the same problems.
What started at the drawing board grew into the first Prostec grip socks, designed to improve grip, stability, and comfort. From there, the range expanded with innovative football accessories that all share the same goal: supporting players in delivering maximum performance.
Our story
2022
From idea to first prototype
ProstecWear starts with one product, namely the Prostec grip socks. Based on our own experiences on the field, we develop an initial prototype that offers more grip, stability, and comfort than traditional football socks. The foundation for the brand is being laid.
2023
Launch of Prostec grip socks
The first Prostec grip socks go live and are quickly picked up by enthusiastic footballers. Through feedback from players, materials and fit are further refined, and a simple product idea grows into a serious football brand.
2024
From product to full-fledged brand
In 2024, ProstecWear will expand its range with sleeves, mini shin guards, and other performance accessories. The demand is growing rapidly, and daily orders are increasing significantly. ProstecWear is developing into a serious player in the football market.
2025
Professionalization and scaling up
In 2025, ProstecWear will move into its own warehouse to manage the growing inventory efficiently. The product range is further expanding, and the focus is on webshop growth, brand strengthening, and professional order processing. ProstecWear is taking a significant step towards becoming a leading football brand.
